Fringe to X-Files

1) In the Fringe episode, "A New Day In The Old Town", Boyle is questioned by a Congressional board. The chairman talks about "The old X-designation"and the "Fringe investigation".

2) In the same episode "The X-Files" can also be seen playing on the TV in the background in the episode where the shape-shifter is shown to kill his first victim.

Senior Agent = Senator Kenneth Taylor ??

Ken Camroux (Senator Taylor) portrayed the Senior Agent in The X-Files who with CSM was present when Section Chief Blevins assigned Agent Scully to the X-Files - in the pilot, no less.
He reappeared in several episodes as, presumably, the same nameless character.

It could be the same character now named Kenneth Taylor, given his apparent familiarity with the X-Files.

I would like that a lot.

"Fringe" to "Twin Peaks"

In the "Fringe" episode "The Firefly" which aired 1/21/11, Dr. Walter Bishop was wearing a custom pair of wire-framed 3D glasses. He said he got them from his friend Dr. Jacoby from Washington State.

Russ Tamblyn played Dr. Lawrence Jacoby on "Twin Peaks" and was seen wearing the same kind of glasses.....
